Dear EBPS members,

We are looking forward to hosting you at the Biennial Meeting of the EBPS which will be held in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, from the 31st of August until the 3rd of September 2017. The meeting will take place at the Conference Centre Knossos Royal Aldemar, a seaside resort in Hersonissos near Heraklion.

The main goal of this international conference is to provide a scientific program that will address the most recent advances in behavioural pharmacology. The conference sessions will cover a broad spectrum of topics from basic scientific to applied research, from animal models investigating neuropharmacological mechanisms and behaviour to studies focusing on humans. Therefore, we encourage you to submit proposals for symposia for the 17th EBPS Meeting and to contribute to its success.

Proposals for symposia should be submitted to the following e-mail address:

Deadline for submission is the 1st December 2016.

Proposals should include a title, a short description of the topic and its significance, and proposed speakers.

In planning a Symposium note that the registration fee for symposia presenters will be partially discounted (by 100 Euros), but EBPS cannot cover accommodation and transportation costs for symposium participants.

We look forward to receiving your proposals!

Terry Robinson President of EBPS
George Panagis Chair of the Local Organizing Committee
